Delete your account
Charcha provides two ways to delete your account and associated active data.
Already have the app?
Open More → Settings → Delete account. Confirm your password and the deletion prompt. The app signs you out and removes your account from the active service.
No longer have the app?
Send a request from the email address on your Charcha account. Do not include your password, payment details, or document images.
Request account deletion by email
We may ask for reasonable account verification before processing the request. If the email address is not the account email, include enough non-sensitive information for us to locate the account safely.
What deletion means
- Your account access is revoked.
- Active account data and content associated with your account are removed, subject to limited retention required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or backup expiry.
- Content shared into a space may be removed or anonymized according to the space's ownership and collaboration rules.
- Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a Google Play subscription. Cancel subscriptions in Google Play before or after submitting a deletion request.
